We are back with a new snapshot of the Top Selling Camera Charts at Amazon, now that the Photokina 2012 trade show is over! We won't cover the whole Top 100 like we used to, in order to keep the size more manageable and make it easier to update on a regular basis. We are also experimenting with some tweaks on the formatting of the table, so it may change slightly in the next few weeks...


FIRST TIME VISITORS: These are snapshots of the top selling camera charts at Amazon. These are not the top selling cameras of the year. While they are snapshots, the Amazon data in itself is using some form of averaging/smoothing-out/weighing algorithm(s), so it is not a random hourly snapshot. We have been observing these for around ten years, black box style [we do the dirty work so you don't have to!]. This exercise is helpful in observing overarching patterns and trends over a long period of time. A stand-alone snapshot chart alone does not say much... For more details, check the About page.
